This notice explains the main information Buried Empire uses to operate player accounts, game progress, multiplayer features, support and site security.

Information Used
Buried Empire may process your account email, commander name, authentication records, game progress, virtual currencies and resources, messages you choose to send, support requests, moderation records, IP and security information, and basic technical usage information needed to operate the service.
Why It Is Used
Information is used to create and secure accounts, save game progress, operate multiplayer and social features, prevent fraud and abuse, respond to support requests, enforce the Game Rules, maintain service reliability and understand basic site performance. Buried Empire does not require players to publish their email address to other players.
Service Providers
Buried Empire uses third-party infrastructure to provide the service, including Supabase for authentication and database services, Vercel for hosting and performance analytics, and Resend for transactional email where configured. These providers may process limited information needed to deliver their services under their own data-protection obligations.
Retention and Security
Account and game data is kept while needed to provide the service, protect legitimate game records, resolve disputes and meet applicable legal or security requirements. Access controls, encrypted connections, database row-level security and other technical safeguards are used to reduce unauthorized access. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of or restriction of certain personal information, and in some cases portability or objection. Use the Support page while signed in to make an account-data request. Identity may need to be verified before a request is completed.
Support and Sensitive Information
For privacy or account-data questions, use the Support page. For account access problems, use the recovery tools first. Never send passwords, recovery links, authentication codes, payment-card information or other secrets in a support ticket or player message.
This notice may be updated as Buried Empire changes. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
